Kids and Teen Fiction Submission Guidelines

Grace Bell Publishing is now CLOSED to submissions of kids & teen fiction manuscripts. Please follow the guidelines below and ensure all requested information is included in the body of your email. Attachments will not be opened.

***Please make sure you have read the general submission page, first.***

Submission Details

Genre: (e.g. middle grade, teen etc. Please include themes as well)

Word Count: (e.g. 50,000 words)

Pitch: 1–2 sentences summarising the story. For MG and teen, please include a full blurb.

Author Information

Bio: Include basic information such as interests, writing achievements, etc. State which Australian state or territory you are from.

Why Grace Bell Publishing: A statement on why you are submitting to GBP. 

Other Information: List relevant memberships (e.g. Omega Writers), critique groups, or other details that support your submission. 

Online Presence

Include any links to social media profiles and/or an author website at the bottom of your email.

Manuscript

Paste the the first chapter at the bottom of your email. Do not send an attachment.

Note, you do not have the full manuscript completed to submit. Please just say where the manuscript is at.
