Picture Book Submission Guidelines
Grace Bell Publishing is now open to submissions of picture book manuscripts. Please follow the guidelines below and ensure all requested information is included in the body of your email. Attachments will not be opened.
***Please make sure you have read the general submission page, first.***
Submission Details
Genre: (e.g. Picture Book – Easter, Christmas, Feelings, humour etc )
Target Age: (e.g. 0–4, 3-6)
Word Count: (e.g. 400 words)
Pitch: 1–2 sentences summarising the story.
Author Information
Bio: Include basic information such as interests, writing achievements, etc. State which Australian state or territory you are from.
Why Grace Bell Publishing: A statement on why you are submitting to GBP.
Other Information: List relevant memberships (e.g. Omega Writers), critique groups, or other details that support your submission.
Online Presence
Include any links to social media profiles and/or an author website at the bottom of your email.
Manuscript
Paste the full PB manuscript at the bottom of your email. Do not send as an attachment.
